Tommy Black - Interludes Of Life EP

Tommy Black is a producer out of Sweden who has been slowlly building a buzz online thanks to his production work for Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Schoolboy Q, Butch Cassidy, Pr1me, J-Ro (Tha Alkaholics) and more. For those interested in his CV so far you have heard his work on the Kendrick Lamar track "Heaven & Hell" off the "Overly Dedicated" project, the Ab-Soul and Big Pooh record Livin Like that featured on "Long Term 2: The Lifestyles of the Broke & Almost Famous", the Butch Cassidy track "Street Life" with Pr1me & Drastic from the "I'm Here" project as well as the Schoolboy Q and Jhene Aiko single "Fantasy" off the Setbacks mixtape.

He is also currently working on new music with Kendrick Lamar, Ab-Soul, Butch Cassidy & Pr1me (The Blues Brotherz), Shade Sheist, Fashawn, Clinton Wayne and more that are sure to hit Dubcnn over the coming months.

A few weeks ago we got sent a single track called "The Undawater Boogie" that is featured on his upcoming instrumental EP "Interludes Of Life" featuring 5 heavily worked Cosmic-Funk/Jazz influenced hip hop instrumentals. We have that for you to check out below before the full EP for you to download just below it, we urge you to check it out and artists - get recording over these beats!

Lookout for more from Tommy Black and his productions on Dubcnn this year, including a planned mixtape called "The Medkit" featuring a host of westcoast artists, due to drop in April.

  1. Street Breeze var riktigt skön, Lagom elektronisk. Hur funkar det egentligen med rättighets tjafs osv om man råkar spela in på ett beat man hittat på nätet?
